The structure will withstand light to moderate snow loading and high winds with the optional third pole. What is the difference between the carbon and aluminum arch pole? The aluminum poles are 6.9oz each 9mm poles. They are sturdy and stiff, and while not the lightest option they are our recommendation for use in any conditions, including snow loading and high wind. The carbon poles are 3.7oz each 7mm poles, and while still strong they are much more flexible than the aluminum. They are perfect for 3 season use where weight is more of a concern than heavy snow and high winds. Do I need the optional condensation liner? The liner is useful for cool, damp conditions or anywhere condensation is unavoidable. Is this shelter really stuffable? Yes. There is no hard structure embedded in the fly. The arch poles fold to 16 in / 41 cm. Are there any additional pullout points for extra staking? Yes, there are additional pullouts on the arch sleeve and perimeter hem.
